Jerome Simmons signs with South Carolina
It’s signing day in South Carolina, and letters of intent continue to roll in for Shane Beamer’s Gamecocks programs.
The latest prospect to officially ink with South Carolina football is Highland Community College JUCO transfer, Jerome Simmons who committed not long ago on December 11, 2023.

A South Carolina native, Simmons chose the Gamecocks over Georgia, Louisiana, Coastal Carolina, and others.
As a defensive lineman, Simmons is rated as the second-best JUCO defensive lineman according to the On3 Industry Ranking.
