Gamecocks standout Kamilla Cardoso announced on Monday night that she is declaring for the WNBA Draft.

The 6-foot-7 center is in the midst of a Final Four run with her South Carolina teammates, with USC set to take on NC State in the national semifinal this weekend.

Once the Gamecocks’ season ends, Cardoso will begin getting ready for the next level.

“To our FAMs, thank you for believing in me and having my back ever since I became a Gamecock,” Cardoso said within her announcement on social media.

The native of Brazil has averaged 14.1 points and 9.4 rebounds during the 2023-2024 season for the undefeated Gamecocks.

Last season at South Carolina, Cardoso earned SEC Sixth Woman of the Year honors.
