Gamecocks open as underdogs at Arkansas
South Carolina football opened as an 8-point underdog Sunday in its Week 2 matchup at Arkansas, according to Circa Sports, which is usually the first book to release lines each week.
The over/under on the game opened at 55 1/2.
The Gamecocks (1-0) kicked off their season with a 35-14 victory over Georgia State in front of a sold-out Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday night.

No. 19 Arkansas (1-0) defeated No. 23 Cincinnati 31-24 behind four touchdowns from quarterback KJ Jefferson on Saturday.
South Carolina and the Razorbacks are scheduled for a noon kickoff on ESPN.
