Long-time NFL TE Jared Cook among 100-plus South Carolina student-athletes to graduate this week
Former South Carolina standout and NFL veteran tight end Jared Cook is one of the 108 Gamecock student-athletes who will receive their diplomas during this week’s graduation ceremonies at Colonial Life Arena, according to a release from the school.
Cook, who is now retired, played for the Titans, Rams, Packers, Raiders, Saints, and Chargers, and accumulated 553 receptions for 7,237 yards and 45 touchdowns in his 13-year career.

A former third-round pick by the Titans in 2009, Cook played three seasons for South Carolina collecting 73 receptions for 1,107 yards and seven touchdowns.
He was considered a high three-star prospect when he signed with the Gamecocks out of North Gwinnett in Suwanee, Ga.
