MarShawn Lloyd: I'm moving like I was before (tearing my ACL)
South Carolina’s MarShawn Lloyd sits down with Gamecock Central’s Mike Uva in another exclusive Garnet Trust Chat presented by 360clean.
In this interview, Lloyd opened up about the on-going challenges he faced last season with coming back from tearing his ACL his freshman season.
“During that process the mental side of things was the worst part of it,” explained LLoyd. “You’re young, all you’ve been doing is playing football your whole life and then finally (your moment comes) and you don’t think things go your way it just makes a U-turn on you.”
In addition to sharing how he’s been able to overcome his injury, both mentality and physically, LLoyd sheds lights on why a running back by committee shouldn’t scare any running back playing in the SEC, his nutritional intake that shows another side of his commitment that few know, and much more.
