Scouting report from Kohl’s Kicking: Love put on a show at the 2023 Texas Showcase in the spring of 2023. He also won a spot at Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp to play in the Under Armour All-American Game in July of 2023. His punt score of 111.30 points led the 2024 class. He also scored 28/36 points on field goals and 109.67 points on kick-offs. He dominated the Texas Showcase by winning the punt and field goal competitions at camp. His punt drill work was exceptional and he showed Power Five ability. Love’s hand-to-toe times were at the college level. Love scored 12/15 points on field goals, 107.9 on kick-offs, and 111 points in punting. He also competed at the National Invitational Scholarship Camp in July of 2022. He scored 103.5 points in punting, and 25/36 points on field goals. He had another strong showing at the 2022 Kohl’s UC Challenge. He was excellent in his punting and was consistent with his ball striking and hang-time in the charting portion. He was able to hit 4.5+ seconds with ease at the event. He flashed great leg strength in his kickoffs at the event as well. Love attended his first Kohl’s ranking event at the Winter Showcase in December of 2021. He had one of the more impressive overall camps in all three disciplines. Love has the talent to play D1 football early in his career!
