Priority South Carolina RB target decommits from Florida State, sets new decision

Blountstown (Fla.) High class of 2026 four-star running back Amari Thomas has been a priority target for South Carolina for some time despite his long-standing pledge to Florida State. The path to the Gamecocks landing him just got a little easier.
The 5-foot-10, 178-pounder decommitted from the Seminoles on Friday, according to Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett, and has already set a new commit date of August 9.
