Individually, South Carolina had a pair of sprinters qualify for the 200-meter final. Ford earned silver after running a blistering time of 22.08 while Jamison came in fourth place with a time of 22.26. Not only were their times good enough to earn them First Team All-American honors, but they were all the two fastest 200-meter times in Gamecock women’s history.

Placing 15th as a team is their best finish at nationals since coming tenth place in 2019. Led by first year coach Tim Hall, the 2023-24 season is now officially over for South Carolina. They’ll now turn their attention to the U20 World Championships and the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
