South Carolina 2023 football schedule announced
Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks learned how their slate of games for 2023 will look Tuesday night.
South Carolina will open its season in Charlotte for a rematch of the 2022 Duke’s Mayo Bowl with North Carolina.

The Gamecocks home opener will be in week two of the season when the Furman Paladins come to Columbia.
Week three will mark South Carolina’s first true road game against Georgia. The game is also the Gamecocks’ SEC opener and will be the third straight year that the two teams have played in week three.
South Carolina’s matchup with Mississippi State in week four will be the first time the two teams have played each other since 2016.

Weeks five through eight, will see the Gamecocks hit three straight crucial SEC East matchups against Tennessee, Florida and Missouri.
South Carolina will then hit the road to face of against Texas A&M in week nine.

Week 10 will be the very first matchup between South Carolina and the newly-promoted FBS Gamecocks of Jacksonville State.
South Carolina will look to beat Kentucky during week 11 and the 120th rendition of the Palmetto Bowl between Clemson and South Carolina will take place on Nov. 25.
