Soon enough, college baseball season will officially be here.

With Christmas around the corner, the countdown is on towards Opening Day for South Carolina baseball on Feb. 14, 2025. And the Gamecocks provided an early Christmas present for all to enjoy: the entire 2025 schedule.

South Carolina will open Paul Mainieri’s first season in Columbia with a three-game series against Sacred Heart. Unlike years past where the team made the trip to Rock Hill in May, the Gamecocks will play at Winthrop on Feb. 18. They’ll then face Queens in a second-straight midweek matchup on Feb. 19 at Founders Park.

The three-game series with Clemson kicks off on Feb. 28 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The series shifts over to Fluor Field in Greenville for the middle game on March 1. Then, the series finale will be at Founders Park on March 2.

South Carolina will open SEC play at Founders park against Oklahoma, who will be playing its first season in the conference. That series will take place March 14-16.

The Gamecocks will hit the road and travels to Fayetteville to take on Arkansas from March 21-23.

Following that, the Gamecocks will return home to take on defending national champion Tennessee on March 28-30. They’ll be back on the road for the next two weekends with trips to Mississippi State (April 4-6) and Texas A&M (April 11-13).
