South Carolina announces kickoff times for first three weeks
South Carolina knows its first three game times for the 2022 season.
The Gamecocks will kick off the season with a night game at Williams-Brice followed by two straight noon games.
South Carolina will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET against Georgia State to open the season with plenty of storylines to pay attention to. The game will be on the SEC Network Plus.
Former Gamecocks’ offensive line coach and interim head coach Shawn Elliott is the head coach while former South Carolina defensive back Jamyest Williams plays there as well.
Jordan Strachan played at Georgia State before transferring the last offseason to South Carolina.
The Gamecocks will then play two SEC games at noon the next two weeks, traveling to Arkansas and returning home to play Georgia.
The Sept. 10 game in Fayetteville will kick off at 11 a.m. local time with it being broadcast on ESPN.
It’s the first game against Arkansas since 2017 and the first time South Carolina played at Arkansas since a 52-7 win in 2013.

Shane Beamer was on staff with Razorbacks’ coach Sam Pittman for a few years at Georgia.
The Gamecocks will come home to play reigning national champion Georgia at noon as well, also on ESPN.
The Gamecocks will have home games against Missouri, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Charlotte and South Carolina State with road trips to Florida, Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Clemson.
South Carolina is coming off a 7-6 season that ended with a Duke’s Mayo Bowl victory over North Carolina.
There’s more hype around the program than most of the previous few years after a winning season and with the additions of a nationally-ranked transfer class headlined by Spencer Rattler.
