It’s senior day at South Carolina and the Gamecocks host Missouri at 7 p.m.

Tuesday’s game is imperative for a Gamecock team trying to get onto the bubble and needing to string together wins to do so.

Follow along our live updates here.

“Man, it’s hard. It’s everywhere. My teammates talk about it. My friends talk about it. it’s hard. I just always try it to block it out,” James Reese said Saturday. “But it’s definitely the goal to make it to the NCAA tournament. We’re not going to do that if everyone’s moping or worried about games we lost.”

They’re coming off a loss at Alabama that snapped a four-game win streak and are trying to avoid dropping multiple games.

Missouri has struggled in SEC play this year, riding a five-game losing streak coming into Tuesday’s game.

For the Gamecocks, they’ll honor their group of seniors after the game.

“I’m really proud of those guys,” Frank Martin said. “I know they’ve helped me heal. They’ve given us the fight to go out there and win games, which is what we built our program around before last year.”

A win guarantees the Gamecocks finish at least .500 in SEC play during the regular season and gives them a Quad III win.

A loss means the Gamecocks drop a Quad III game and makes it nearly impossible to make it to the tournament without winning the SEC Tournament next week.

South Carolina is expected to win, sitting four games better of Missouri entering Tuesday night in the SEC. KenPom projects South Carolina to win 71-63 and gives the Gamecocks a 76 percent chance to do so.
