South Carolina starting big man entering transfer portal

South Carolina senior post player Nick Pringle is entering the transfer portal. On3’s Joe Tipton reported the news on Monday afternoon. He also will test the NBA Draft waters, per Tipton’s report. Pringle previously expressed interest in returning to the Gamecocks.
Pringle spent just one year in Columbia after transferring in from Alabama. Before joining the Crimson Tide, he spent some time at Dodge City Community College and at Wofford.
For the season, Pringle was a starter at center who averaged 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He joins fellow former Gamecocks Austin Herro, Zach Davis, and Arden Conyers in the portal.
