DeCamillis has a long track record of coaching football, dating all the way back to the early 1990’s. From 1991-2022, he worked in the NFL, primarily as a special teams coach. His most recent pro gig came with the Los Angeles Rams, where he won a Super Bowl two years ago. He also won a championship with the Denver Broncos back in 2016.
He spent last year with the Texas Longhorns, his first college coaching job, as a special assistant to the head coach. DeCamillis will now be tasked with replacing Pete Lembo, who served as special teams coordinator under Shane Beamer for three years.
