South Carolina earns first AP poll ranking in 7 years
It’s been a long time coming, but South Carolina is finally back in the top 25. The Gamecocks checked in at the No. 15 spot in the AP poll.
The last time South Carolina made the rankings was back on Feb. 13, 2017. Back then, it was ranked 21st in the country. That was the same year the Gamecocks made it to the Final Four, where they would lose to Gonzaga. They finished 26-11 that season.
