South Carolina EDGE Jordan Strachan receives multiple NFL rookie mini camp invites

It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride but Jordan Strachan’s NFL dreams remain alive. On Sunday, GamecockCentral learned that the South Carolina EDGE has been invited to take part in rookie mini camp with the Tennessee Titans. In addition to the Titans, Strachan informed GamecockCentral on Sunday night that he also received a rookie mini camp invite by the Kansas Chiefs.
Strachan arrived at South Carolina in 2021 after co-leading the FBS in sacks in 2020 at Georgia State. After waiting behind EDGE players like J.J. Enagbare and Aaron Sterling, Strachan was destined to not only play a key role for South Carolina in 2022 but to also be a guy to watch for the 2023 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, those plans were cut short in Week 2 of that season when he suffered a knee injury against Arkansas, ending his season.

Returning in 2023, the 6-4, 242-pounder racked up 20 tackles, seven tackles for loss, four sacks, and forced two fumbles this past season. He also deflected a pass. In his career, which lasted seven years (first four at Georgia State and final three with the Gamecocks), he spent seven years in college including the last three at South Carolina… transferred from Georgia State he has 18.5 career sacks in 50 career games. Starting in 26 games, he recorded 130 tackles, including 31.5 tackles for loss.
