Four-star flip: South Carolina lands talented OL from Georgia
South Carolina football closed out early signing day with a bang on Wednesday by flipping four-star offensive lineman Damola Ajidahun away from Georgia Tech.
Ajidahun had been committed to the Yellow Jacket since August, but other programs – Georgia, Ohio State, and South Carolina – continued in pursuit.
The On3 Industry Ranking rates Ajidahun as a four-star prospect and as the number 223 prospect overall nationally in the 2025 class. He is also rated as the 19th-best offensive tackle prospect in the country and as the number 31 prospect in the state of Georgia.

“I feel like Coach Teasley, you can look at him as a brother kind of person,” Ajidahun said in October, after his official visit to Columbia. “The way his relationship between me and him, man, I just call him and he can pick up. I talk to him so casually. It’s like I’m just speaking to someone that I’ve known for a long time. Coach Teasley always knows how to make someone laugh. And Coach Sam Serbay, man, he’s just a great guy overall with a great personality. He just always knows when to crack a joke or not to. Just nothing but good words for those guys.”
The talented tackle prospect also loves the fan support at South Carolina.
“What stood out to me was definitely the fans, man,” Ajidahun said. “It’s got a ton of energy. I felt like just walking around, being recognized by people, man. It just felt great, you know what I’m saying? That the fans really care about football in and out. So yeah, it was great. The coaches, the facility, everything really impressed me. I just loved seeing South Carolina, man. Everything was amazing.”
Here’s what Duluth High head coach Cam Jones has to say about Ajidahun:
“He’s got a great mindset,” Jones told TwinSportsTV. “To get to that next level, you have to have that mindset, and he’s got it. He attacks every single day – not just practice, but film review, weight room and in the classroom. He works to be the best version of himself every single day. It also doesn’t hurt that he has the size and athleticism that very few folks have. But it’s his mindset to be the best that makes him the total package.”
