It took a dominant win over Vanderbilt to convince the College Football Playoff Committee that the South Carolina Gamecocks should be ranked. Checking in at No. 21, there's a path to an at-large bid. However, I'm not quite ready to chart the way forward quite yet and if all goes well for South Carolina this weekend, next week's analytics report will have a big picture focus. For now, I'll give some final numbers and thoughts on Vanderbilt, look at some season trends in both numbers and play calling, and examine a few key matchups for the Gamecocks against Missouri.
