South Carolina football confirms Shane Beamer's inclusion in EA Sports College Football 26

South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer is “in the game.” On Friday, the official Gamecock Football page on X confirmed that the USC headman will be in the updated EA Sports College Football 26 video game. In the announcement, Carolina also revealed that defensive coordinator Clayton White and new offensive coordinator Mike Shula are in the game, as well.
This year’s edition of the best-selling franchise includes coaches for the first time. According to EA Sports, over 300 coaches agreed to their likeness being used in the game.

The Gamecock coaches’ involvements in the game follow South Carolina star pass rusher Dylan Stewart making the cover of the Deluxe Edition of CFB26.
Sources have also told GamecockCentral’s Mike Uva that a couple of other USC-centered changes are coming. Per Uva, game developers have included the full “2001” entrance, something that was completely absent previously. Also, the 2026 version of the game includes updated and accurate towels. During the pre-kickoff “Sandstorm,” Williams-Brice Stadium’s rally towels were black instead of white; that has been remedied.
Over the next month, EA Sports will share more College Football 26 news. Fans can preorder the game now ahead of its July 10th release. Preorderers will receive early access on July 7th.
