CHRIS CLARK: After Josh Vann caught his first touchdown of the season against Vanderbilt, Gamecock football’s social media team caught the sideline celebration on camera.

Ahmarean Brown’s response? “I’ve got to get me one.”

Brown has 14 catches for 147 yards this season and has been a part of some near-hits in the deep passing game.

Here’s to thinking he gets on the scoreboard with a touchdown of some variety – rushing or passing – on Saturday.

WES MITCHELL: Nick Emmanwori will lead the Gamecocks with double digit tackles. This may be a pretty safe bet in most games but I think it’s an especially safe prediction in this one. We all watched Emmanwori in his first career start seemingly going head to head all game with Arkansas QB K.J. Jefferson earlier this year and it could be more of the same against Anthony Richardson.

The Gators, because of Richardson’s size and speed, create a lot of explosive plays, particularly from Richardson himself, which means there might be a lot of opportunities for the Irmo graduate to clean up plays and rack up his tackle count.

KENDALL SMITH: South Carolina’s offense will match up well against Florida’s defense, and after a strong offensive showing last week (even without Lloyd), I think the Gamecocks are in a good place heading to Gainesville.

I predict that South Carolina football’s run game will get going, and we’ll see a running back eclipse 100 yards on Saturday. Will it be Lloyd? With his injury, I’m unsure. But, I’m confident someone will step up for the Gamecocks in the backfield.

COLLYN TAYLOR:  Neither one of these defenses are great, and South Carolina’s run defense has struggled of late. The official prediction: there will be a combined 70 points scored in this game.

The Gamecocks have struggled defensively the last two weeks and Florida ranks at or near the bottom in yards per rush against, per pass and per play. Whoever wins is going to need a lot of points to do it.

MIKE UVA: It’s happened twice this season and it will happen again this weekend. The Gamecocks will take advantage of a Florida Gators’ defense that ranks 112th against the run in FBS and rush for over 200 yards. The difference this week? Hopefully MarShawn Lloyd is back to add to that total.
