On Wednesday, On3 debuted its National High School Football Composite Rankings. The rankings are a collected comparison of some of the most prominent high school rankings in the country, including the On3-partnered Massey Ratings.

When the composite dropped, South Carolina football fans likely noticed some connections to their favorite team. Both future Gamecocks and a former player and assistant feature prominently in the top 100.

Class of 2025 Gamecock linebacker commitment AJ Holloway plays for Buford High School in Buford, Georgia. The Wolves currently sit at No. 12 in the composite rankings.

At No. 30, the Baylor School Red Raiders are coached by former South Carolina quarterback and assistant coach Erik Kimrey. Several prominent South Carolina football recruiting targets attend Baylor.

Next up is 2025 linebacker pledge Josh Smith’s Dutch Fork Silver Foxes. The On3 composite ranks the Columbia-area school No. 35 in the country. Kimrey and a number of other former Gamecocks also hail from Dutch Fork.

Several other schools on the top-100 list also have connections to players on the current South Carolina football roster. Milton in Georgia is where Debron Gatling went to high school, IMG Academy in Florida is Lukas Vozeh’s high school, DeMatha Catholic in Maryland helped raise up Tree Babalade, Lee County in Georgia is the alma mater of both Juju McDowell and Jaron Willis, Northwestern in Rock Hill is where Elijah Caldwell came from, and Hoover in Alabama is the home of Robby Ashford and Peyton Argent. All of those schools cracked the On3 composite top 100.
