Q: Coach Beamer was talking about the different personnel groupings and getting creative with some of the injuries…what was your overall assessment of the offense, and did you learn anything about some players or packages that haven’t been used much?
Sellers: Yeah, we had a lot of packages…starting with Tuesday practice dealing with the injury stuff, but guy stepped up and did what they’re supposed to do. That’s all you can ask for.
Q: The last three weeks, all the coaches have been like ‘LaNorris is just more confident.’ What does that look like for you? How does it actually show itself in practice or in a game?
Sellers: Really, it’s just through your play, honestly. Just sitting in the pocket, being about to take hits. Just being decisive. I’ve just got to tell myself that if I make a decision, it’s the right decision all the time. If it works out, it works out; if it don’t, it don’t. But just being confident in myself [is key].
Q: What was it like having Spencer [Rattler] back in the building this weekend?
Sellers: It was good. I knew he was coming. He texted us in the quarterback group chat from last year that he was coming. So, when I saw him in the locker room, he kind of snuck up on me a little bit. But I was excited to see him.

Q: You’re a guy whose from in-state. You understand what’s coming up next (Clemson) better than anyone. How excited are you to start your first rivalry game, and how do you keep that ‘1-0’ mentality?
Sellers: It’s very exciting. I mean, it’s Clemson. We’ve just got to go into practice and have a good week in practice. If you’re going to have a good game, you’ve got to have a good week of practice.
Q: It seems like every deep ball you’ve needed to make, you’ve learned to make it at this point. How have you grown in that aspect?
Sellers: Really, it’s just reps at practice and getting chemistry down with the guys. We stay after practice, get routes in with the guys…trusting what I see.
Q: Coach Beamer said you may have called your own number once tonight. Can you tell us your thought process there and what you saw?
Sellers: I saw we were down inside the one [yard line]. I figured I could get in on the quarterback sneak, so I called it. We ran it, and that’s all that went into it.
