South Carolina starter labeled potential 2026 NFL Draft riser

There might not be a more physically impressive athlete in college football than South Carolina’s Nyck Harbor. At 6-5 and over 230 pounds with Olympic-quality sprint speed, the high school EDGE-turned-receiver has owned the top spot on Bruce Feldman’s “Freak’s List” the last two offseasons. He’s taken some time to adjust to his new position, but he played his best ball down the stretch last year. With his improvement and considerable gifts, Harbor is firmly on the NFL Draft radar.
In fact, according to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Harbor is one of ten players in the country who could fly up draft boards this season.

In 2024, despite a slow start, Harbor led South Carolina wideouts in receiving and touchdowns. He logged 15 of his 26 catches, 272 of his 376 yards, and two of his three touchdowns in his final five games. He also looked considerably more comfortable late in his sophomore campaign, both as a route-runner and as a pass-catcher.

This offseason, Harbor did not participate in track and field, either in the indoor season or in the outdoor season. That means the talented receiver has had his first full offseason playing football in his entire life. Tracks has always consumed his springs, but this year, he was a full-time football player.
If that extra work pays off with Harbor taking another step forward, PFF’s prediction could prove to be prophetic. His raw tools alone have the NFL salivating. If he can add to it with legitimate, consistent production, he has first-round NFL Draft upside. Fellow Gamecocks LaNorris Sellers and Jalon Kilgore could become early-round selections with strong 2025 showings, as well.
