South Carolina-Oklahoma game time announced

South Carolina’s week eight matchup with Oklahoma now has a kick time. After a previous announcement that the Gamecocks and Sooners would play at either noon or 12:45 p.m., the SEC Network revealed late Saturday night that kickoff had been set for the later time.
South Carolina (3-3; 1-3) will host Oklahoma (5-1; 2-1) at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday, October 19th at 12:45 p.m. SEC Network will carry the television broadcast. The ESPN app will also make the game available for streaming.
Saturday’s early kick will be the first one of the season for the Gamecocks and will be just the second non-night game for Shane Beamer’s team in 2025.
The South Carolina State Fair will be in Columbia next weekend, as well.
Both South Carolina and Oklahoma will enter next week’s game coming off a loss. The Gamecocks dropped a road contest to LSU, 20-10. The Sooners also lost the Red River Shootout to Texas, 23-6. Quarterback John Mateer returned early from hand surgery and struggled in the loss.
