South Carolina lands WR commitment with blistering 40 time

South Carolina football wide receivers coach Mike Furrey already signed a large group of receivers during the early signing period as Jayden Sellers, Brian Rowe, Lex Cyrus, Jordon Gidron, Malik Clark, and Donovan Murph (who kept his signing secret for a couple of weeks) joined the fold. Many viewed the six-man class as one of the best in school history.
However, it appears that the Gamecocks now are taking seven receivers in the class of 2025 as Christ Church Episcopal School standout Jackson Repp announced his commitment to USC on social media on Monday afternoon. He will join the program as a preferred walk-on.

Repp, who On3 rates as a 3-star player in the ’25 cycle, is one of the fastest players in the Gamecocks’ signing class. During a camp visit to Columbia, he impressed the Carolina coaching staff when he ran reported 40-yard dash times in the 4.3s. He isn’t just a straight-line sprinter, either. Repp has some wiggle to his game and showcases good vision with the ball in his hands. His film also is littered with impressive catches.

Unfortunately for Repp, his senior season at Christ Church ended prematurely with a torn ACL. Having occurred in the fall, he is still working his way back from the injury.
Listed at 5’8″, Repp is a smaller wideout. However, with his speed and quickness, he could carve out a role with the Gamecocks if things go well. He also should get a look on several special teams units for special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis.
