4-star offensive tackle includes South Carolina on top list

South Carolina offensive line coach Lonnie Teasley has brought in some highly rated players to his room in recent classes.
In the last three signing classes, the Gamecocks have landed seven blue-chip prospects. So far in the class of 2026, one more 4-star (Carvers Bay guard Zyon Guiles) has pledged his services (Rock Hill interior lineman Anthony Baxter is in the class, as well). Teasley and the USC staff are in on several others in the 2026 cycle, including Tennessee native Kamari Blair.
On Friday, per a report from On3’s Steve Wiltfong, Blair has cut his list of top schools to six, and South Carolina made the cut. Joining the Gamecocks are the Tennessee Volunteers, Florida State Seminoles, Ole Miss Rebels, Kentucky Wildcats, and Wisconsin Badgers.

Blair, listed at 6-6 and 280 pounds, is an athletic tackle. In fact, he moves well enough to get some run at defensive end on the other side of the ball. He uses that athleticism to fire off the football with ill intentions as a run blocker.

Blair has also showcased nimble and quick feet in pass protection. With additional potential stemming from his length and strength profile, he could develop into a really good player at the next level.
Blair has official visits set for five of his six finalists (all but Tennessee). South Carolina will host him the weekend of June 6th as part of a busy summer of visits in Columbia. He will take trips to Wisconsin on May 30th, Florida State on June 9th, Ole Miss on June 13th, and Kentucky the weekend of June 20th. He last visited the Gamecocks for an unofficial during spring practice.
