On Thursday, South Carolina football officially made the final five for class of 2026 4-star Ryan Mosley. He relayed his list to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. The Gamecocks join the Georgia Bulldogs, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Texas A&M Aggies, and Alabama Crimson Tide in Mosley’s top five.

Considered an athlete by On3, Mosley ranks as the No. 217 prospect in the country in the On3 industry rankings. He’s also the No. 11 athlete and No. 28 player in the always-talented state of Georgia. 247Sports and ESPN rank Mosley as a wide receiver, while Rivals joins On3 in labeling him as an athlete.

South Carolina and Georgia have sat atop Mosley’s recruitment for some time now. In recent weeks, the Bulldogs appear to have pulled ahead slightly, but USC is right there, too. Mosley was in Columbia a couple of weeks ago and has an official visit planned for June 6th.

This winter, Mosley told GamecockCentral, “I just love it there [in Columbia.] That’s just a place that feels like home right now.”

Mosley has good size for the wide receiver position. Already listed at 6-2 and 205 pounds, the Carrollton High School product still has another year of development to go before arriving on a college campus. Despite being a bigger player for the spot, he still has solid speed. Mosley routinely runs away from high school defensive backs and showcases excellent body control on balls in the air and when navigating through defenses after the catch.

South Carolina will be taking a smaller wide receivers class in the ’26 cycle after bringing in six scholarship wideouts in 2025. Mosley has been a priority for wide receivers coach Mike Furrey, and the Gamecocks will continue pushing as they battle the in-state Bulldogs down the stretch of his recruitment.
