Priority 4-star South Carolina target visiting Columbia again
Priority South Carolina football recruiting target Ryan Mosley, a 4-star prospect from Georgia, is returning to Columbia for another trip to USC’s campus. The Carrollton High School product announced the unofficial visit on social media on Wednesday. According to his post, he will be in town on Friday.
Many have considered South Carolina and Georgia to be the top contenders in Mosley’s recruitment. He recently took another trip to Athens, as well. Mosley has an official visit scheduled to check out the Gamecocks again on June 6th. He also has OVs set to Georgia, Penn State, Texas A&M, and Nebraska. All of those trips will come in May and June.
This winter, Mosley told GamecockCentral, “I just love it there [in Columbia.] That’s just a place that feels like home right now.”

South Carolina wide receivers coach Mike Furrey is leading the charge in the Gamecocks’ pursuit of Mosley. Just last cycle, Furrey landed six scholarship receiver commitments (and a preferred walk-on). Four of those players were ranked as 4-star prospects, while the other two were 3-star recruits.

Mosley has been a standout on both sides of the ball for Carrollton, and he’s been labeled as an athlete at various times during his recruitment. However, his future at the college level should be at receiver.
On3’s industry ranking–a weighted composite of the rankings from On3, 247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals–lists Mosley as America’s No. 217 prospect. He’s also the composite’s No. 11 athlete and No. 28 player in the always-loaded Peach State. On3 is higher on Mosley as a player, ranking him as the No. 142 player nationally, 7th among all athletes, and No. 20 in Georgia.
