South Carolina football has always been at its best when the top players from the Palmetto State stay home to play for the Gamecocks. It must be good news for the program, then, that this year’s Shrine Bowl will be full of Gamecock commitments.

On Sunday, the official Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas rosters were released, and as of the time of this writing, eleven USC pledges have made the cut.

On the South Carolina team, the Shrine Bowl selection committee picked eight future Gamecocks. 4-star wide receiver Malik Clark (Rock Hill), 4-star offensive lineman Shed Sarratt (Gaffney), 4-star EDGE Jaquavious Dodd (Eastside), 4-star linebacker Jaquel Holman (Blackville-Hilda), 3-star wide receiver Jayden Sellers (South Florence), 3-star defensive back Damarcus Leach (Abbeville), 3-star quarterback Cutter Woods (Westside), and 3-star EDGE Anthony Addison (Sumter) all made the team for the Sandlappers.

The committee picked three South Carolina commits for the North Carolina roster. 4-star wide receiver Brian Rowe (Jay M. Robinson) and 3-star linebacker/EDGE players Taeshawn Alston (Vance County) and Donovan Darden (Havelock) will represent the Tar Heel State.

Jordon Gidron is the only 2025 commitment from the Carolinas who is not on a Shrine Bowl roster; however, he only reclassified from the 2026 cycle to the ’25 class two days ago.
