South Carolina priority OL target Markee Anderson names Top 4
Priority South Carolina football recruiting target Markee Anderson released his top four schools on Sunday and the Gamecocks, as expected, made the cut.
Anderson, the On3Consensus four-star interior offensive lineman from Roebuck (S.C.) Dorman, lists South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina and LSU as his top four.
That list also appears to serve as a de facto “final four” for Anderson who plans to take official visits to all four schools in June and then make a decision right before his senior season.
Anderson, who has been a major target for South Carolina offensive line coach Greg Adkins, was in Columbia for two spring football practices and back in town for the Garnet and Black spring game.
South Carolina has been the perceived favorite for Anderson and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) agrees with that sentiment.
The RPM currently gives South Carolina an 82.7 percent chance to land Anderson with Clemson checking in at 7.6 percent, UNC at 6.4 percent and LSU at 2.8 percent.

The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – considers Anderson the No. 136 overall prospect and No. 10 interior lineman in the 2023 class. He is ranked the No. 2 prospect in the state of South Carolina.
While South Carolina is waiting on its first public football commit for the 2023 class, the Gamecocks currently have three silent commits that have told head coach Shane Beamer that they want to be Gamecocks.
Markee Anderson Bio
Markee Anderson doesn’t have to look too far to find a good meal. His father, Lance Robinson, owns the 365 Grillin’ & Seafood truck where he does all the cooking. He’s passed on the expertise to his son, who also doubles as one of the most outstanding offensive line recruits in the country.
“Whatever you need on it I can make it,” Anderson told GoUpstate. “I’ll go in there and take different kinds of meats, different kinds of bacon, different cheeses, a lot of salt and pepper and just experiment around a little bit.”
Anderson said when he’s not playing football or cooking, he enjoys playing video games and basketball. He plans on majoring in computer technology in college. His mother is Tawana Robinson, and he has three siblings (Markia Anderson, Zion Hackett and Zykamern Robinson).
