In-state prospect sets official visit to South Carolina

Tilden “T” Riley, an in-state tight end in the 2026 cycle, earned a scholarship offer from South Carolina last month. Now, he has scheduled an official visit. Riley confirmed the news on social media.
The athletic tight end will be on campus the weekend of June 20th. The trip to Columbia will replace a previously scheduled one to Florida Atlantic. As of now, it is not known whether he plans to reschedule the visit to Boca Raton. Riley has three other official visits already scheduled, including stops in Blacksburg (Virginia Tech), Morgantown (West Virginia), and Nashville (Vanderbilt). Those three visits will come over the three weeks before his OV to South Carolina.
Riley has visited USC on multiple occasions, including in April right before he received his Gamecock offer.

Riley plays his high school ball at Orangeburg Prep, where he was an all-state performer as a junior. At 6-5 and 210 pounds, he’s primarily viewed as a tight end. However, he splits out wide a lot in the Indians’ offense and helps out on defense at the safety position.
As a tight end prospect, Riley brings intriguing length and athleticism to the table. He’s fast enough and smooth enough to play a lot of receiver at the high school level, but at 6-5, he’s got the size to be a matchup problem. Riley is a multi-sport athlete at OP, also performing well on the basketball hardwood and the baseball diamond.
Riley didn’t earn his first Division-I offer until the end of January. However, his recruitment has heated up a bit since then. He now boasts seven power conference offers with South Carolina being the most recent to pull the trigger.
