Four-star target sets decision date
Last month, four-star safety Kendall Daniels announced a top eight that consisted of South Carolina, Alabama, Duke, Miami, Penn State, Texas A&M, Virginia, and Virginia Tech.
Now, the 6-foot-3, 187-pounder is ready to announce where he’s going to play at the next level. The Maury (Virginia) standout is revealing his decision at 3:00 p.m. EST on Sunday.

The On3 Industry Ranking has Daniels as the 8th-best prospect in the state of Virginia and as the number 24 safety in the country for the 2025 class.
He was a high school teammate last year of South Carolina freshman linebacker Fred “JayR” Johnson at Maury. Together, the two helped their team to an undefeated season and a state championship.
“First, when I look at a school, I’ll look if they have the major I want to do,” Daniels told CaneSport.com last month. “And I look for how they would use me in their system and how they could help me on and off the field.”

The Gamecocks’ charge has been led by defensive backs coach Torrian Gray, who hosted Daniels for an unofficial visit last summer in Columbia.
South Carolina football currently holds four verbal commitments in the 2025 class. One is from a defensive back: Abbeville’s Damarcus Leach.
One On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) prediction has been placed by GamecockCentral.com staff for Daniels, and it’s in favor of the Gamecocks.
