T.J. Sanders accepts invite to Reese's Senior Bowl

After recently announcing his plans to forgo his final season of eligibility and enter the NFL Draft, South Carolina’s T.J. Sanders will have one last opportunity to suit up as a Gamecock.
The redshirt junior defensive lineman has accepted an invitation to the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl. The news was made official in a X, formerly known as Twitter, post by the bowl on Tuesday.

Sanders, a projected top draft pick, finished the 2024 season with 50 tackles, including 4.0 sacks and 7.0 tackles-for-loss.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pound Marion, S.C. native completes his Carolina career with 109 tackles, including 9.5 sacks and 17.5 tackles-for-loss. In the last two seasons, Sanders has combined for 8.5 sacks.

Sanders becomes the third Gamecock to accept an invite to the Senior Bowl, joining EDGE Kyle Kennard and linebacker Demetrius Knight Jr.
The Reese’s Senior Bowl game will be played on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. on NFL Network.
