Former South Carolina defensive lineman signs with new team
Former South Carolina football defensive lineman Elijah Davis has found a new home thanks to the NCAA transfer portal. Following two years in garnet and black, Davis has joined the Troy Trojans. On3’s Pete Nakos reported the news on Sunday.
Davis, who joined the Gamecocks ahead of the 2023 season as one of the top defensive tackles from the junior college ranks, bounced between tackle and end during his USC career. He didn’t find a role in Columbia, though, tallying just six total tackles at Carolina.
