South Carolina football learns kick time, TV network vs. Vanderbilt

South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer and his team will take on the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday. However, on Monday, the Gamecocks learned what time they will play their next opponent. According to an announcement from the SEC, South Carolina-Vandy will be at 4:15 p.m. on SEC Network.

South Carolina currently sits at 4-3 (2-3), while Vanderbilt is 5-3 (2-2). The Gamecocks have not lost to the Commodores since 2008.

From the press release from South Carolina Athletics:

The South Carolina Gamecocks will play their final conference road game of the season when they travel to Nashville, Tenn. to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday, Nov. 9. Game time has been set for 4:15 pm ET at First Bank Stadium and the contest will be televised by the SEC Network.

The Gamecocks have dominated the series with Vanderbilt, winning each of the last 15 contests to take a 29-4 lead in the overall series. The Gamecocks have not lost to the ‘Dores since a 24-17 setback in Nashville in 2008.

South Carolina will be looking for its third SEC road win of the season when they travel to Vanderbilt, having already won at Kentucky (31-6) and at Oklahoma (35-9).

The Gamecocks (4-3, 2-3 SEC) will host No. 10/11 Texas A&M (7-1, 5-0 SEC) in a 7:30 pm ET matchup in Columbia on Saturday, Nov. 2, while Vanderbilt (5-3, 2-2 SEC) looks to become bowl-eligible when they travel to Auburn (3-5, 1-4 SEC) for a 12:45 pm ET kick on Saturday.
