How to watch South Carolina football stars compete at the NFL Combine

The South Carolina football program will be among the best represented at this week’s NFL Combine. In total, 12 Gamecocks will compete in Indianapolis with 11 (Nick Emmanwori, TJ Sanders, Kyle Kennard, Demetrius Knight, Rocket Sanders, Josh Simon, O’Donnell Fortune, Torricelli Simpkins, Bam Martin-Scott, Tonka Hemingway, and DeAndre Jules) participating in the main NFL Scouting Combine events and punter Kai Kroeger taking part in the combine’s Specialists Showcase earlier in the week.
Whether one considers USC’s combine invitation total to be 11 or 12, this year marks a Carolina combine record. Only Texas, Ohio State, and Georgia have more than 12 players invited to the 2025 NFL Combine.
Here is GamecockCentral’s Mike Uva’s breakdown of the 11 non-specialist Gamecocks competing in Indianapolis and also a Kroeger breakdown ahead of his trip to Lucas Oil Stadium.
Last year, five South Carolina football alums competed in Indianapolis. Four of them (Xavier Legette, Spencer Rattler, Marcellas Dial, and Nick Gargiulo) earned NFL Draft selection. If the Gamecocks come close to that invitations-picks ratio, they will have a big-time showing at the draft. In total, 329 players received NFL Combine invitations. 257 will hear their names called this April.

With a strong contingent of USC products in Indianapolis, South Carolina could challenge the program record for NFL Draft picks. In 2009 and then again in 2013, seven Gamecocks earned selections.
