The South Carolina Gamecocks picked up additional help along the offensive line with the addition of transfer Aaryn Parks on Sunday.

The former Oklahoma lineman played his high school football at National Christian Academy in Fort Washington, Maryland.

A member of the 2020 recruiting class, then-Sooners assistant Shane Beamer had a role in recruiting him at the prep level.

The On3 Industry Ranking – a weighted average of all four major recruiting services – tabbed Parks as a four-star prospect and the number 164 player in the country in his class. He was also rated by the metric as the number 7 prospect in Maryland and as the 20th-best offensive tackle in the country.

Parks originally entered the transfer portal on December 15 and took an official visit over the weekend to Columbia.
