A member of the 2020 recruiting class, then-Sooners assistant Shane Beamer had a role in recruiting him at the prep level.
The On3 Industry Ranking – a weighted average of all four major recruiting services – tabbed Parks as a four-star prospect and the number 164 player in the country in his class. He was also rated by the metric as the number 7 prospect in Maryland and as the 20th-best offensive tackle in the country.
Parks originally entered the transfer portal on December 15 and took an official visit over the weekend to Columbia.
