Mario Anderson makes move on latest South Carolina depth chart

South Carolina football released its official depth chart for Tennessee week on Monday with a couple of minor changes from the week prior.

The biggest adjustments from last week are Juice Wells (doubtful for UT) is no longer listed on the depth chart, Mario Anderson is now listed as a co-starter with Dakereon Joyner after previously being listed behind Joyner, and Elijah Davis is now listed as one of three co-starters in the place of Drew Tuazama at the defensive end spot.

With Wells no longer listed, the receiver depth chart now looks somewhat like the rotation Carolina used this past week with O’Mega Blake starting in his place, though Luke Doty is still listed as the backup quarterback and not as a receiver despite being a first-teamer against Mississippi State in a three-receiver set.

Freshman receiver Tyshawn Russell, who has seen his snaps gradually increase, is also now listed on the depth chart as Blake’s backup.

Ahmarean Brown remains on the depth chart as a starter and could return to action this week after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury.

While Joyner has started all four games at running back this season, Anderson played the most snaps on Saturday and was the team’s leading rusher with 88 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries.
