Four-star EDGE locks in South Carolina official visit with decision on deck

Greensboro (N.C.) Grimsley four-star EDGE Bryce Davis had a top three that didn’t include South Carolina but now the Gamecocks will get their chance to take a swing.

Davis, the No. 62 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking, announced Tuesday night that he’ll take an official visit to South Carolina on June 21, the first day of the Gamecocks’ third and final big recruiting weekend of the month.

The 6-foot-2.5, 240-pound Davis has previously said that his final three schools were Clemson, Duke, and Georgia and that he was planning to take officials to all three before making a decision,

Davis, ranked the No. 9 EDGE in the country, took his trip to Clemson this past weekend and will be at Duke this upcoming weekend and Georgia the weekend after that. Now he’s got the Gamecocks on the docket for the final official.

Davis will announce his decision on July 20.
