The Columbia (South Carolina) Spring Valley product originally joined the program as a walk-on prior to the 2020 season.
After redshirting that year, Rogers took over in 2021 later in the season as the deep snapper on punts. He was also named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll that season.
This year, Rogers won the starting job at snapper and played in all 12 regular season games. He tallied three tackles on special teams and also had a five-yard rush for a first down on a trick play against Georgia State.

Rogers was a standout on the baseball diamond for the Vikings, but also excelled as a snapper and wide receiver under head coach Robin Bacon. During his senior high school season, Rogers tallied 41 receptions for 563 yards and 7 touchdowns.
Rogers is a redshirt sophomore with the program and is listed at 6-foot-1, 205-pounds.
“Gets great velocity on his snaps,” says Rogers’ GamecocksOnline.com bio. “Excellent athlete who runs extremely well for a deep snapper, providing good coverage skills on punts.”
