Gamecocks in the NFL: Week 5 recap

Fourteen Gamecocks were active in Week 5 in the NFL, which is the same number of active South Carolina players who appeared in NFL games in Week 4.
Here’s a look at how every former Gamecock player in the league did this past weekend.

Javon Kinlaw – 49ERS
The veteran defensive lineman failed to register a stat.
Deebo Samuel – 49ERS
Samuel finished with 85 total yards of offense, which included catching three passes.
Jovaughn Gwyn – FALCONS
For a fifth straight week the rookie offensive lineman was inactive as a healthy scratch.
Jadeveon Clowney – RAVENS
Clowney finished with one tackle.
Jaycee Horn – PANTHERS
The third-year defensive back remains on IR after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 1.
Hayden Hurst – PANTHERS
Hurst caught three passes for 21 yards on three targets.
Zacch Pickens – BEARS
The rookie had one tackle in the Bears’ Thursday win.

Jalen Brooks – COWBOYS
The rookie wide receiver was inactive as a healthy scratch.
Rico Dowdle – COWBOYS
The fourth year back racked up 15 yards rushing on five yards. He also returned two kicks for 35 yards, including a long of 22 yards.
Stephon Gilmore – COWBOYS
Gilmore finished with six tackles including five solo tackles. He also defended a pass.
Israel Mukuamu – COWBOYS
The third year defensive back was inactive as a healthy scratch.
Nate Adkins – BRONCOS
Despite not registering a stat, Adkins was a key blocker at TE on Sunday for the Broncos.
Kingsley Enagbare – PACKERS
Enagbare was all over the field on Monday night. He had three tackles including two tackles for loss and a sack.

The DB finished with six tackles including five solo. He also returned one punt for two yards.

Zack Bailey – CHARGERS

Ernest Jones – RAMS
For a fifth straight week, Jones finished with a team-high in tackles. This weekend he racked up 15 tackles including ten solo, and three TFL.
Cam Smith – DOLPHINS
The rookie defensive back was active but failed to register a stat.
Nick Muse – VIKINGS
For a fifth straight game, the second-year tight end was inactive as a healthy scratch.

D.J. Wonnum – VIKINGS
Wonnum had four tackles including two that were solo.
*Kevin Harris – PATRIOTS
Harris is currently on the Patriots’ practice squad
Adam Prentice – SAINTS
The veteran fullback was used heavily on special teams and as a blocker on offense.
Dennis Daley – CARDINALS
After suffering an ankle injury during the final preseason game, Daley remains on IR.
Rashad Fenton – CARDINALS
Fenton began the year and remains on IR.
*Chris Lammons – COLTS
Lammons is currently on the Colts practice squad.
