2024 class member will not be part of South Carolina team
Junior college defensive tackle signee Jerome Simmons will not be a member of South Carolina’s football team this season, GamecockCentral.com has learned.
An alumnus of Bamberg-Ehrhardt High, Simmons signed with South Carolina out of Highland Community College (Kansas) as a member of the 2024 recruiting class.
Sources tell GamecockCentral.com that the door is open for Simmons to join the program next January, should certain academic obligations be met.
