#WelcomeHome! Gamecocks land commitment from Georgia DB

South Carolina football’s 2026 class grew by a man on Monday night as defensive back Peyton Dyer announced his pledge to the Gamecocks.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder was in Columbia this weekend watching USC take down Texas A&M in Williams-Brice Stadium.

Dyer chose South Carolina over offers from Georgia, Louisville, Ole Miss, and Penn State, among others.
“Excited to announce I’m committing to University of South Carolina,” he wrote on his X social media profile on Monday night. “I’m ready to take this next step.”
