South Carolina offers transfer portal receiver
South Carolina continues its search to add another transfer portal wide receiver or two and on Wednesday the Gamecocks extended an offer to Miami (Ohio) transfer wide receiver Gage Larvadain.
Larvadain posted the news of an offer from South Carolina wide receivers coach Justin Stepp on Twitter/X.
Larvadain has also heard from Auburn, Baylor, Cal, Duke, Houston, Michigan State, Miami, Tulane and UCF, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
He is currently ranked the No. 7 wide receiver in the transfer portal by the On3 Industry Ranking.

The 5-foot-10, 165-pounder led the Mid-American Conference with 679 receiving yards on 42 receptions with six touchdowns in 2023.
In 2022, Larvadain had 59 catches for 731 yards and two touchdowns while playing at Southeastern.
While Larvadain will be a two-time transfer, guidance sent to schools by the NCAA earlier this week, fall athletes who decided to transfer will be allowed to immediately play in 2024-25 academic year without securing a waiver.
He played high school football at Riverside Academy in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, and was an unrated recruit before joining SLU.
