Gamecocks open as nearly three-touchdown underdogs to Tennessee
South Carolina football opened as a 19-point betting underdog for its home finale against No. 5 Tennessee this upcoming Saturday night at Williams-Brice Stadium, according to Circa Sports.
The book set the over/under at 67 1/2 points when it first released lines on Sunday afternoon.

The Gamecocks (6-4, 3-4 SEC) lost 38-6 to Florida in Gainesville on Saturday night.
Tennessee bounced back from its loss to Georgia the previous week to improve to 9-1 overall and 5-1 in league play with a 66-24 victory over Missouri on Saturday.
The Vols have won the last three matchups with the Gamecocks, taking last year’s game 45-20 in Knoxville.
South Carolina’s last win in the series came in 2018 when the Gamecocks rallied from down 12 to win 27-24 in Columbia. At the time, it was Carolina’s third straight win in the series.

In lieu of South Carolina’s matchup with No. 5 Tennessee next week, “SEC Nation” is coming to Columbia, the conference announced Sunday morning.

The “Marty & McGee” Show will air at 9 a.m., with the two-hour “SEC Nation” show to follow starting at 10 a.m. A location hasn’t been announced yet. Last year, the show aired from The Horseshoe on USC’s campus. It also has taken place at Gamecock Park, which resides beside Williams-Brice Stadium.

This is the first time this season the SEC Network has taken its show to Columbia. The show most recently came to town for the Gamecocks’ matchup against Kentucky last September.
South Carolina is coming off a 38-6 loss to Florida. Tennessee bounced back in a big way after falling to No. 1 Georgia two weeks ago, beating Missouri 66-24.
