South Carolina (5-3, 3-3 SEC) is, of course, coming off a field-storming-worthy 44-20 victory over No. 10 Texas A&M on Saturday night at Williams-Brice Stadium.
The Gamecocks also have wins over Old Dominion, Kentucky, Akron, and Oklahoma to go along with losses to LSU, Ole Miss, and Alabama.
Vanderbilt (6-3, 3-2 SEC) has been the SEC’s Cinderella story this season collecting wins over Alabama and Auburn in the same year to go along with victories over Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Alcorn State, and Ball State. The Commodores lost to Texas, Georgia State, and Missouri.

By Steve Wiltfong
Williams-Brice Stadium was on another level Saturday night as South Carolina knocked off No. 10 Texas A&M 44-20 in front of an electric crowd.
The Gamecocks shutout the Aggies 24-0 in the second half.
Part of the pandemonium was a star-studded recruit section as head coach Shane Beamer and his staff hosted top prospects they’d love to have playing for them in these kind of environments for years to come.
