South Carolina opens as big Vegas favorite over Missouri
Fresh off a dominant win over Vanderbilt, South Carolina opened as around a two-touchdown betting favorite over Missouri on Sunday.
The Vegas Insider consensus line sat at South Carolina -13 early Sunday afternoon with the over/under at 43.5 points.

While Draft Kings also had the Gamecocks favored by 13 points, FanDuel set the early line at South Carolina by 14.5.
The Gamecocks (6-3, 4-3 SEC) have won three straight after defeating Vanderbilt 28-7 on Saturday afternoon in Nashville.
In addition to that win, Carolina has victories over Old Dominion, Kentucky, Akron, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M. The Gamecocks have losses to LSU, Ole Miss, and Alabama, all Top 25 opponents.
Missouri (7-2, 3-2 SEC) has had an up-and-down year but has still managed to piece together a 7-2 season to this point.

Despite blowout losses to A&M and Alabama, Missouri has collected wins over Murray State, Buffalo, Boston College, Vanderbilt, UMass, Auburn, and most recently Oklahoma.

Saturday night’s win over the Sooners was a wild one featuring a back-and-forth final quarter that saw multiple lead changes before Mizzou held on for a 30-23 victory.
The Tigers were without starting quarterback Brady Cook.
South Carolina has lost five straight to Missouri, the last win over the Tigers coming in the famous Michael Scarnecchia “monsoon game” at Williams-Brice Stadium.
This year’s matchup will be back at Willy B with a 4:15 kickoff on SEC Network.

Even with all the noise that came following an upset win over Texas A&M, it didn’t seem to faze South Carolina. Not one bit.
Instead, the goal was simple for this week: go 1-0. Keep winning games and the rest will take care of itself.
Facing a much-improved Vanderbilt team, the Gamecocks went into Nashville and came away with a 28-7 win to improve to 6-3 (4-3 SEC).
