It was a Chamber of Commerce morning in Columbia, S.C. as South Carolina was greeted with perfect weather for Day 1 of the fifth spring of the Shane Beamer era. The media was on hand for the first three sessions of the practice and I've got some observations below along with some notes and context that we've picked up throughout the day and leading up to the practice.
