South Carolina continues portal receiver pursuit
For the second straight day, a transfer portal wide receiver has reported a new offer from South Carolina.
James Madison transfer wide receiver Elijah Sarratt posted on Twitter/X Thursday night that the Gamecocks are the latest school to offer.
GamecockCentral initially mentioned to its subscribers Sarratt as a potential target to keep an eye on, on December 17.
The Dukes’ leading receiver this past season, Sarratt also reported offers from Utah and Indiana, where his former head coach recently took over the football program.

The 6-foot-2, 207-pound Sarratt caught 82 passes for 1191 yards and eight touchdowns this past season as a sophomore.
Prior to his one year at JMU, Sarratt attended Saint Francis for a season, setting the school single-season receiving TD record with 13.
The Stafford, Va. native attended St. Frances Academy in Baltimore for a prep year after graduating from Colonial Forge High School.
Sarratt has two years of eligibility left. JMU is the same school that Carolina landed wide receiver Juice Wells from a couple of seasons ago before he bolted for Ole Miss.
