Live from Woodland High: No. 1 OT Kam Pringle announces college decision!
Dorchester (S.C.) Woodland class of 2024 four-star offensive tackle Kam Pringle has been a priority target for South Carolina since the Gamecocks offered nearly two years ago and now he’s ready to reveal his future home.
Now a rising senior and the No. 1 offensive tackle in his class, Pringle will announce his decision Sunday at 2 p.m. during a ceremony at the Woodland High School gym.
Gamecock Central is on hand for the announcement and will have live video, assuming the connection holds up, a caveat we always tell our readers and viewers ahead of time.
We will also have live updates on The Insiders Forum, our premium fan community.

The 6-foot-8, 340-pound standout named a top six earlier this month of South Carolina, Georgia, NC State, Clemson, Tennessee, and Florida.
Pringle also has offers from schools like Auburn, North Carolina, Ohio State, LSU, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Penn State, Miami, and Texas A&M, among others.
Pringle, who has visited Columbia countless times, explained to On3’s Hayes Fawcett why the Gamecocks made the cut.
“A program that jumped in on recruiting me as a 9th grader just as soon as they stepped foot in their new home!” Pringle said. “Made sure to prioritize me in recruitment and with them being just over 30 minutes from my front door, the fan base also has heavy influence in my area!”

In September of last year, Pringle explained to On3 how he would go back about his decision.
“When I make the decision, it will be like really educated, professional decision,” Pringle told Chad Simmons. “It’s not just gonna be, oh, my friend committed so I’m gonna go there or they said they’re gonna do this. I’m gonna go there. It’s going to be really where I feel comfortable.”
If Pringle picks the Gamecocks he would be their second commitment in the 2024 class, joining Dante Reno, a four-star quarterback and long-time pledge from The Loomis Chaffee School in Connecticut.
